What is DSE?

A Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessment is a critical evaluation designed to identify and address risks associated with using computers, laptops, tablets, and other screen-based devices in the workplace. The primary objective of a DSE assessment is to ensure that such equipment does not adversely affect the health and well-being of employees and to ensure compliance with The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992.

What is Assessed in a DSE Assesment ?​

  • Workstation Setup: Comprehensive evaluation of the employee’s desk, chair, and overall workspace to ensure compliance with the DSE regulation.

  • Posture: Detailed analysis of employees' interaction with their equipment, focusing on sitting and standing postures.

  • Environmental Factors: Assessment of lighting, noise levels, and other environmental conditions that may impact impact the employee whilst using display screen equipment.

  • Work Habits: Examination of daily routines and work practices to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.

Team focused assessment:

Office Visits - Half day - up to 10 employees - £400

Office Visits - Full Day - up to 15 employees - £550
