Craniosacral Therapy in short
Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch, non invasive treatment that supports the body’s natural ability to release tension and return to balance. It works with the nervous system, soft tissues, fluids, and subtle rhythms of the body, helping you settle, restore, and feel more at home within yourself. Sessions are 60 minutes, available at both Hackney (E8) and Islington studios (N7).
Our thoughts, emotions, and physical body are deeply connected. Stress, overwhelm, or past experiences can create patterns of tension that stay held in the body. Over time, this can show up as discomfort, fatigue, anxiety, or a sense of being stuck in survival mode. Craniosacral Therapy gently helps the body unwind these patterns. Many people describe the experience as calming, grounding, and quietly transformative.

What Craniosacral Therapy
session involves
You lie fully clothed on the treatment table. Renata places her hands very lightly on various points, often the head, sacrum, occasionally feet, joints, or torso. The pressure is minimal, sometimes barely perceptible.
The work feels like very little is happening on the surface; the nervous system feels a great deal underneath. Sessions can include moments of emotional release, deep sleep, gentle physical adjustments, or simply a slow softening throughout the body.
Many clients describe the work as one of the most settling things they've experienced. Effects often continue for days after the session.

What clients say
"Renata was the first person to explain to me where the root of my problem was and through craniosacral therapy Renata helped me to release tension and also understand emotional issues like how to cope with stress and anxiety. Renata has a lot of personal and professional experience in this area and I felt the sense of being able to trust her guidance. It felt intimate and welcoming. There were moments of smiling, joy, emotion and plenty of space to process these feelings. I am noticeably calmer after the sessions and feel better being more aware and having knowledge of knowing myself deeper."

Frequently Asked Questions
Some people feel a great deal, warmth, subtle movement, deep relaxation, emotional waves. Some feel almost nothing during the session but profound calm afterwards. Both are common. The lightness of the touch doesn't reflect the depth of the work.
Yes. It's one of the least invasive body therapies that exist and can help a great deal to relax you and make the pregnancy feel easier.
Yes, and this is often where Craniosacral does its most profound work. Because it's body-led rather than talk-led, it can reach material that traditional talking therapy struggles with. Many clients use it alongside therapy, not instead of.
Yes, migraines and tension headaches are among the most common reasons people book Craniosacral Therapy. Relief often shows after 3–4 sessions for chronic migraine patterns.
Yes, particularly for chronic fatigue, ME/CFS, long Covid, MCAS, and other nervous-system-involved conditions. For complex pictures, we'd recommend a 2-hour Integrative Care Assessment with Simona first.
